Welcome, and thank you for visiting the Genesee Valley Health Partnership, Inc.’s (GVHP) web site. We invite you to explore and find out how our partners are collectively working to improve the health status of Livingston County residents.
The GVHP is a non-profit, rural health network of more than 40 different organizations that are either based in Livingston County or provide services to Livingston County residents. A 501(c)3 organization, our mission is to improve the health and well being of the Livingston County community through collaboration, education and prevention.
Our tagline, ‘Creating a Healthy Future Now’, truly describes the purpose of our collective efforts. We work on a broad range of activities, which focus on a variety of health topics, including youth development, wellness promotion, violence prevention, health information technology, community health education, and improved access to health services.
Supporting these activities is the GVHP staff. They support our daily activities by conducting research, seeking best practices, implementing solutions, managing projects, and promoting our collaborative efforts.
It is also my privilege to introduce you to the GVHP Board of Directors, who provide the leadership and strategic vision for driving our organization forward.
Our 40+ partners collaborate to develop and implement solutions to health challenges facing our community. They are drawn from hospitals, County government, human service organizations, primary and secondary educational institutions, private health care providers, health insurance companies, health education and prevention organizations, long term care providers, and local businesses.
Since our beginning, our vision has is to help Livingston County residents will be the healthiest in New York State. We continue that vision through our commitment to “Creating Healthy Future Now.”
