A pleasant location with plenty of room to enjoy the natural beauty of Conesus Lake. A relaxing rest stop for travelers, a charming walking area for outdoor enthusiasts and swimming, picnicking and play areas for the entire family. The park features free summer concerts on Sunday evenings that can be enjoyed in your folding chairs or on your boat.
Chip Holt Nature Center is located in the park.
Babcock Park in Dansville:

Babcock Park, located off Morey Avenue in Dansville, is the largest of Dansville's parks. It consist of approximately 40 acres of both passive and athletic areas. Babcock park was built through the efforts of both volunteer groups, state grants, and Village contributions.
In addition to being the largest of the parks, it is also the most widely used. Dansville Central School uses the hardball fiedl in the park in exchange for mowing services. The Village of Dansville employs a park maintenance supervisor for Babcock Park during the mowing season.
The Dansville Fire Department occupies a large recreation area that is an integral part of the park. |
