2008 GREENWAY & RELATED EVENTS Saturday, April 19, Guided Hike: Meet at 9:00 a.m. at Mt. Morris Dam Visitor Center (South of Mt. Morris Village, 2 miles off of Rt. 408). Leader: Joan Schumaker. Minimum 4 miles out and back from dam through oak forest to Greenway. Option to add more, looping through Livingston County Park. Medium pace. Saturday, May 3, Greenway Clean-Up Day/Picnic: 9:00 a.m., Meet at Oakland Road Locks, bring gloves and tools for clearing brush around locks and on trail. Park’s crew will also be available with equipment/trucks. Following clean-up, plan to stay for picnic at Parade Grounds - Bring dish to pass and table service. Sunday, Sept. 28 - 27th Annual “Journey for Sight” 5K Walk-a-Thon Belfast, NY (meet at the park next to Rt. 19), 12:00 – 1:00 Registration; Walkers depart at 1:00, runners at 1:30.
