The Livingston County Transportation Unit:

• helps people who live in Livingston County
• helps with transportation for non-emergency medical appointments

They provide many options to help you get to your appointments:

• gas cards
• providing rides
• finding someone who can give you a ride that you pay for
• identifying ways to help you pay for the cost of rides.

The Transportation Unit works mostly with people who are on Medicaid, but they can help anyone with the following services (at no cost to you):

• voluntary contributions
• finding someone who can give you a ride that you pay for
• finding another agency who can help you if they can’t, such as the Red Cross or Catholic Charities
